Philosophy of the Ringhotels
Trend and Tradition - the way forward
Ringhotels is not a hotel chain, but an association of privately owned and run hotels, where hoteliers and staff go out of their way to make your vacation or conference as perfect as possible.
Established in 1973, Ringhotels e.V. is now Germany´s largest hotel cooperation of private, independent hoteliers. The members are superior 3-star and 4-star hotels from very small (11 rooms) to very big (212 rooms). Ringhotels include conference and city hotels as well as vacation and wellness resorts.
Ringhotels are hotels rich in tradition, many of which have been owned by the same family for generations. The establishments are usually privately run and personally managed and are characterised by typical regional ambiance, attentive service and good food. Ringhotels meet the high standards set by the hotel cooperation in terms of facilities and quality. The Ringhotels hotel line 'German Castles' has been part of Ringhotels since 2007. This grouping incorporates historic manour houses, charming half-timbered and old town houses as well as traditional inns, which are characterised by their historic relevance.
A Ringhotel...
... is usually a family-owned establishment, but is certainly always individually managed and run
... has a restaurant with high quality, regional cuisine (exception: in cities Ringhotels may offer breakfast facilities only)
... has a hotel classification (DEHOGA) of at least 3-Stars and fulfills internal quality criteria
... is characterised by its friendly and professional employees as well as by a familial and personal atmosphere.
Family-run and personal
At Ringhotels we pamper our guests with high standards of quality, attentive service and excellent cuisine. Values like tradition, strong local affinity as well as a relationship of trust between guest and hotel staff are very much a part of the Ringhotels experience. Here you will enjoy true hospitality which comes from the heart.
The aim of the Ringhotels association was to form a strong counter-force for the private hotel industry vís a vís the hotel chains. To this day, the basic principle still holds sway. The personal way in which you are treated as a guest in a Ringhotel is not something new we've come up with: rather it is a deep rooted value of our association, which was already a part of our tradition when the very first hotels combined forces more than 35 years ago and is still firmly anchored in the Ringhotels philosophy to this day. Our association is a union of active members, who practice professionalism with heart and soul in their hotels. Personal. private. Because we care for you.
Our service is evaluated according to the latest quality criteria and standards. Our advertising is honest and is reflected in our service and performance. Our hoteliers believe that high quality standards, individual management, warm and personal atmosphere and traditional hospitality are values worth striving for.
Each Ringhotel has its own history and individual character. They impress guests with their historic ambiance as part of the 'German Castles' hotel line, with their location right on the lake, or by their proximity to a UNESCO World Cultural or Natural Heritage Site.
The familial atmosphere in our hotels makes all our guests feel truly welcome as individuals. It is part of our philosophy to recognise our guests needs and to keep in touch with their requirements throughout their stay with us. Recognising the latest trends and listening to our guests' wishes and preferences is an integral part of the Ringhotels profile - and this is what makes our hotels so well-loved and so unique.
True Hospitality
Nowadays, our guests set great store in the quality of the details. And in our hotels attention to detail plays a decisive role in all aspects - be it in the decor and amenities, the ever attentive service which form the basis of a relaxing and enjoyable stay, the thoughtful selection of our menu or the good local knowledge of our employees, who love to share information and give our guests valuable insider tips. With us you can be sure that your choice of hotel will not be 'hit or miss': you may rest assured of a warm welcome and individual attention and care.
Well-being versus wellness
In these hectic and fast paced times, the yearning for rest, deceleration and relaxation, the wish for a sense of 'home coming' and well-being - all this and more is stylishly fulfilled in our hotels. With us you can truly enjoy your break-away from the everyday routine, your vacation or a long weekend. Everything is perfect: the food, the attentive service and the homely atmosphere. The harmony of culinary enjoyment and beautiful surroundings brings out the creative muse in all of us. We are inspired to communicate, to associate, to meditate and to contemplate. There is no negativity, the atmosphere is harmonious. Here you feel really good.
Culinary highlights - regional cuisine
Where enjoyment and well-being blend with regional culinary delights, your vacation reaches new heights of relaxation. At all Ringhotels you will be pampered with a high standard of regional cuisine. Fresh local produce is used in all the dishes. We place great emphasis upon good, contemporary style food, because at our hotels good cooking is a tradition. One third of all hotels has at least one gastronomic recommendation. In this way we are proving the theory that good food is available everywhere in Germany.
In many ways, the regional experience is currently undergoing a Renaissance. Besides 'bio' or ecologically sound principles, regionalism is the second major trend in Germany. Ringhotels has taken heed of the guests desires in this regard and an emphasis is placed upon individual regional aspects in decor. Because we care about our environment, respect our natural resources, make use of them sparingly and use recyclable and eco-friendly materials. Personal. Private. Because we care for you.
